The 2025 DF65 National Championship was hosted by the Tauranga Radio Sailing Club (TRSC) over Easter weekend, April 19–20, at Tauriko Lake in Tauranga. The Notice of Race, Sailing Instructions, Entry Form, and Entry List for the 2025 DF95 Nationals to be held at Wattle Farm on 7-8 Jun 2025 have been released.
Friday was a shocker – rain, sometimes heavy, and a strong Northerly wind. Practise sailing wasn’t popular! Bill Bradley was at the club however, despite the conditions, to complete the weigh in and registration process for 20 keen competitors. The event was well supported, with a strong contingent from Cromwell, Pegasus, Nelson and,no other than the Rocket Man, Murray McDonnell from Auckland. Sailors arrived Friday afternoon for registration and a chance to test the water. A light northerly prevailed, allowing for testing and fine tuning.
