Sunday 7th July : DF95 AUCKLAND CHAMPIONSHIP
Following on from the DF65 yesterday, the DF95’s showed a strong 21 boat fleet. Again 2 skippers were stood down on a rotating basis to act as observers.
Conditions were similar to Saturday, with cold sou-westerlies straight down the lake, accompanied by occasional flurries of icy rain – just in case someone was enjoying themselves too much.
A rig was the order of the day…and only a couple of times were boats buried offwind.
Some bloke called Reubin (#169) from NSRYS won!…from a very consistent GHRYC based Trevor Bamforth (#417) and NMMS sailor Nigel Sibun (#43) third.

Dragon Master title (best of both DF65 and DF95 champs) goes, of course, to Reubin Muir...well done sir!
