Saturday was a frustrating first day (for RO and competitors) – light and variable with the wind from every quarter.
Sunday the wind filled in from the east (down the pond), steadied and built gradually through the day. Both fleets went down to B rigs for a few races later in the day.
Gold fleet was won by Ian Vickers (V11), from Grant Nixon (Britpop) and Reubin Muir (V11). Aaron Taunt (V11) from Tauranga took the bottle of wine for the silver fleet win.
