Kerikeri  Radio Yacht Squadron race radio control yachts every second Sunday at 10.30 am.

Races are held on the beautiful Lake Manuwai which is probably one of the best venues in  New Zealand for radio control sailing.

Kerikeri  Radio Yacht Squadron works in with Kerikeri Cruising Club sharing  the boat shed at the lake for storing the race equipment.

Members sail their own boats and welcome new comers to have a go.

The International One meter Class is the most popular and the International Marblehead Class is another class that is raced with the club.

Most radio control sailors have previously sailed Dinghies and keelboats  however it is possible to learn to sail radio control  boats without having previous sailing experience.

There is a depth of experience with some club members been involved for over 20 years. Several  sailors compete in Regional and National  events and this builds  a good level of competition within the fleet.
