The more observant among you may have noticed that the rules were due to be updated (2021-2024). I have added a link to the updated rules (2025-2028). Some of the other documents related to the rules may need to be updated as well. If you are aware of documents that can help clarify the rules please let the webmaster know.
I know some prefer to race without strict adherence to the rules. Remember that it is a fair play and that the rules are intended to be self enforced. Hence it is appropriate for every sailor to be aware of the rules. The place to learn and discuss the rules is your local club.
I really appreciated it when experienced sailors took time to help me understand what I was doing wrong when I began sailing in August 2020. I encourage you to help each other to become familiar with the rules of sailing.
