Managing your web resources

When setting up your website for your club or class association, make sure that more than one person has access to it. You can find out who is registered as the owner through whois sites but that does not allow you to access the registration or the control panel for managing the site.

I am trying to resolve some of these issues for another organisation that I am involved with and I have had messages from NZRYA members about access to their club or association sites.

My advise:

The chairperson, the treasurer, and the webmaster should all have access to the web resources as a minimum. They may not know what to do when they login but if you lose a key person, they do have a login to be able to give someone who knows what to do access.
