The NZL IOM NCA AGM has been scheduled as below:

1.0 CALL FOR NOMINATIONS
As per 5.3. of the Regulations nominations for the Officers of the Management Committee standing for election shall be received in writing by the Class Secretary (6) weeks before the meeting at which the election is to take place.
The Officers who may make up the Management Committee shall be a minimum of three (3) or maximum of seven (7). One or more of these roles may be combined at the discretion of the NCA.
The NZL IOM NCA shall have the following Officers as its Management Committee:
- Class Chairman
- Class Secretary
- Class Treasurer
- Class Registrar
- Class Measurer
- Class Technical Officer
- Class Racing Officer
2.0 CALL FOR RESOLUTIONS/MOTIONS
As per 4.6. of the Regulations, Resolutions for a General Meeting (AGM) shall be specified to the Class Secretary in writing at least six (6) weeks before the meeting at which they are to be proposed. Resolutions/Motions are to be emailed to the Class Secretary at ec12nz@outlook.com
NZL IOM NCA OFFICER ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Officers who may make up the Management Committee shall be a minimum of three (3) or maximum of seven (7). One or more of these roles may be combined at the discretion of the NCA.
1.0 Class Chairman
The Class Chairman’s role is to chair all meetings at which he/she is present.
2.0 Class Secretary
The Class Secretary advises the NZL IOM NCA Management Committee on any membership matters relevant to the Class. This role may involve, but is not limited to:
- Maintaining a register of Registered Owners.
- Maintaining a register of Certificated Owners
3.0 Class Treasurer
The Class Treasurer advises the NZL IOM NCA Management Committee on any financial matters relevant to the Class. This role may involve, but is not limited to:
- Proposing standing, annual, subscription, ad hoc, and other fees.
- Preparing a budget for expenditure.
- Reimbursing the reasonable expenses of any Officer.
- Preparing the Annual Accounts of the preceding accounting year.
- Forecasting the accounts for the current year.
- Pre-clearing any non-budgeted item of expenditure in excess of 250.00 NZD
4.0 Class Registrar
The Class Registrar acts as the IOM Certification Authority in New Zealand. is the role of the Class Registrar. This role may involve but is not limited to:
- Ensuring that a measurement form has been correctly completed before issuing a measurement certificate.
- Maintaining a register of all completed measurement forms.
- Determining any schedule of fees payable for hull number registration and/or boat certification.
- Issuing hull numbers in accordance with the IOM Class Rules.
- Maintaining a register of issued hull numbers and Registered Boats.
- Maintaining a register of issued certificates and Certificated Boats.
5.0 Class Measurer
Advising the NZL IOM NCA Management Committee on any measurement matters relevant to the Class is the role of the Class Measurer. This role may involve, but is not limited to:
- Keeping all IOM class measurers in NZL informed of IOM Class Rule changes and interpretations.
- Maintaining a register of all IOM class measurers in NZL.
- Organising, facilitating, and/or liaising in the training of IOM class measurers in NZL.
- Helping to ensure that the Boats used in IOM events comply with the IOM Class Rules by providing measurement assistance as required to the organising authority.
- Determining any schedule of fees payable for IOM measurer services.
7.0 Class Racing Officer
The Class Racing Officer advises the NZL IOM NCA Management Committee on any IOM event and racing matters relevant to the Class. This role may involve, but is not limited to:
- Planning the IOM event calendar in NZL.
- Facilitating the running of IOM events in appropriate locations and to proper standards and liaising with IOM event organisers.
- Determining any schedule of fees payable by entrants to IOM events.
